It was so hard to make the final cuts in editing the footage, from the visit to Southern Kentucky. Plenty more to share in future segments. For now, enjoy part 1.
The History of The Mcguire Homestead.
Stella with her generous Southern Hospitality, shared some fantastic old B & W photos with us. The lighting inside, did give a few the "orange tint". You can still make them out, but wanted to share that is not the color of the actual photograph. After viewing the video below, you can check out Stella's blog titled The Mcguire Homestead at this link*.

I love the crickets in the background!
HaHaHa. Between the crickets & frogs, I could barely hear myself think! I do not have the set up for audio mixer, so alot of what Jason shared is not even detectable over the wild life. The frogs were SCREAMING loud. It was amazing to come back home & sit in the yard only to be assaulted by the noise pollution of planes, mowers & vehicles. I think we saw 3 cars the entire weekend while there.
Dang tammie, what can I say? I love it!!!!!
Really nice Tammie, I can't wait for part two!
This is really great. I'll be back for more.
June in WI is dairy promotions, so on todays paper front page is a story about a seven generation farm. Lots of kids!
I'll have to read that more closely too.
